The Roosevelt Network adamantly upholds academic honesty and integrity. All articles must be submitted by the original author (s), and not have been previously published in any magazine, journal, platform, nor handed in for an academic assessment.

Open Access Policy

  • “The Roosevelt” is an open access, peer-reviewed intellectual magazine. Each sanctioned article is made freely available on our website and is published under a Creative Commons Attribution license.
  • Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles on this platform without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. Authors always retain their copyright. 
  • All research is granted a Creative Commons License. For Articles, the specific license is the Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). For all Capstones, it is the most restrictive, Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND). You can read more about Creative Commons licenses at creativecommons.org
  • As an undergraduate magazine, there is no Article Processing Charge (APC). The allocated Fortuna budget covers publication costs.

Privacy Statement

All names and information provided will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of the magazine and will not be made available to third parties. Authors have the right to request their work to be listed as ‘anonymous’. 

Removal From Website

Authors have the right to request the removal of their publication from the Roosevelt Network at LUC website at any time. The Network will comply with this request within 2 months. Specific details of this request can be found in the Publication Contract or requested  by sending an email to: roosevelt.network.luc@gmail.com
